Games in Swedish
Tuesday| 15:00 – 16:00 | 250kr
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Teamwork and fair play are fundamental life skills. What better way to hone those skills than through playing games? The goal of Games Club is to promote confidence and a healthy competitive spirit in a safe environment where the students can be challenged by a range of games and opponents. From PYP3 to 5 the children are encouraged to push themselves out of their comfort zones, play with people who aren’t necessarily their friends and develop the ability to cope maturely with winning, losing and having a good time. We select board games and activities that promote teamwork, respect, building trust and empathy, while at the same time practising Swedish. The aim is to become more resilient and compassionate and understanding how to manage challenges while building an understanding of healthy competition. Students will also enhance their Swedish vocabulary and speaking skills.
