Teamwork and fair play are fundamental life skills. What better way to hone those skills than through playing games? The goal of Games Club is to promote confidence and a healthy competitive spirit in a safe environment where the students can be challenged by a range of games and opponents. From PYP3 to 6 the children are encouraged to push themselves out of their comfort zones, play with people who aren’t necessarily their friends and develop the ability to cope maturely with winning, losing and having a good time.
The students have access to a range of games with two teachers – Mr Tom and Ms Fanny – who are on hand to play with the students, oversee games, give rulings on tricky questions over the rules and generally keep the peace! The group is hoping to grow its stock of games over time.
